County decided to use a lease program to turn over the County fleet quicker. Future use of this type of fund possible.

In the past, the County's fleet and fleet replacement has been dramatically impacted by a bad economy and the resulting budget reductions, within the General Fund particularly. As such the fleet has competed for General Fund dollars with the many other needs the County must fund. The result is an aged fleet and ever increasing maintenance costs due to not being replaced over time as it should have been.
